At first I was going to say Gordon Jump but it’s clearly Don DeFore.
Well played. Yes, that’s Don Defore, pre-Hazel, as the gullible businessman Arthur Winant, in Dark City (dir. William Dieterle, 1950). He’s caught in a card game that he’s doomed to lose.

Many many years ago I ran into Don’s son in an AOL chat room. Very pleasant guy. He seems genuinely surprised someone knew who his father was and recognized his name.
