Can't remember his name but he played Paul Drake in the Perry Mason series.
Looked it up: William Hopper. Shame on me for not remembering: I had a serious crush on him in my early teen years.

It’s William Hopper, in Mystery House (dir. Noel M. Smith, 1938). The IMDb lists Hopper’s first screen appearance: 1916, when he was an infant, and when he was DeWolf Hopper Jr. Thanks, everyone, for playing.
It's sad and ironic that he would be pictured here with a cigarette, since that's what he famously spoke out against and died from.
