Yes, Hugh Beaumont it is, in The Seventh Victim (dir. Mark Robson,1943). Sheer coincidence, really: it’s on TCM later today, as I just discovered.
Although, I think it looks a lot like Jack Klugman, too.
And a little like a Dana Andrews impersonator.
