Good on him again! Obviously some of her fellow students didn't agree with her behaviour! And called her out on it. Unfortunately she will carry that attitude into the work place. Teaching about empathy starts at home which I have a feeling is not happening anymore.

And to think that the baby boomer generation is blamed for everything -- environmental issues, jobs, etc.

I just got back from going to pick up some lunch which involved walking through our local college hangout area. Today is the first home game of the season which is billed as refill the bill (Bill Snyder stadium). Lots of parents and students without masks. In about a week we'll see yet another increase in our numbers.

The unmasked events in arenas are sheer insanity. And the attitudes some students have shown are appalling.

The response I might have given that student: “One of us has to leave.” I think I did have to say something like that when dealing with a chronically disruptive student years ago. It worked. I’m not sure it would work now.
