An honest mistake. Friday was Autumn Record Store Day and reading your post, I had the same thought as you.
I didn’t know about ASRD. But it’s maybe just as well.
I’m going to add the word shallow in front of boxes. They were indeed shallow boxes, which made record-buying all the more plausible.
I read it that way too—
working in thrift, I do see a lot of records.
Oops — ARSD. And I’m remembering the feeling a stack of new LPs under one arm.
And maybe I should retitle this post “Reading.”
