In today’s Zippy, Griffy notes that museums sell Picasso everything — mousepads, T-shirtscoffee mugs. “What’s next?” he wonders. “Guernica bedsheets and party dresses??”
I wouldn’t have believed it, but you can find a Guernica skirt, complete with Picasso signatures along the waistband, front and back, at Etsy.

I did see it at MOMA! I must have been a teenager visiting NYC with my father...
Gosh, I didn't realize till now that I was lucky and that it has moved back home.
I think I must have seen in the 1970s. I don’t think they have tchotchkes back then, just postcards and posters.
I made it a point see every time I came to NYC. I knew it was leaving, once Franco was demised. (Today, I visited the Hoper at the Whitney, a masterful exhibit)
I love Hopper. There was an exhibit of his sketches years ago — Indianapolis? — just great.
