A noble gesture indeed, although we’re still expected to tear open the box and devour these figurative endangered species.
There is something strange about that. Then again, my granddaughter just discovered Pepperidge Farm Goldfish.
Then aren't WE in danger of being eaten?
A friend who cares deeply about animal rights posted the front of the new cage-free animal crackers. I didn't feel I could say,
Yes, and on the back, we see the lion eating the giraffe...
So I'm saying it here.
(Not that the old cages weren't heartbreaking in their tininess.)
