Here’s a photograph from Lauren Boebert’s Instagram account, said to have been posted on January 5. That’s Boebert (R, Colorado-3) front and center. Notice the four circled figures: I don’t need to explain their hand signal. See also this Washington Post article about what Mikie Sherrill (D, New Jersey-11) saw on January 5.

The Boebert photograph is not from January 5 and not from Washington. But it is a picture of Boebert with supporters, at least some of whom identify themselves as white supremacists. I trusted that Aaron Rupar’s (now-deleted) retweet of the photograph was evidence for its authenticity.

Outside and inside the Capitol

We hear a lot about how many of the Tea Part and QAnon members of Congress are from gerrymandered districts. I haven't looked into Marjorie Taylor Green's district in Georgia, for instance, but it may be.
Boebert's district, though, is not gerrymandered. It's the entirety of western Colorado. They wanted her. It's half the state.
That’s the scary thing — it’s what (some) people want.
My Congressional district was put together as a Republican stronghold. The really scary part: in the primary, there were people who thought Mrs. Miller (remember that name from TV?) not far enough to the right. But she’s a photogenic mom (of seven! and seventeen grandchildren!), and a lot of money went her way. She’s something like our version of Sarah Palin, picked out and put forward as a candidate.
Boebert lives in Rifle, Colorado. Appropriately enough.
Shoot, you're not kidding.
Bang on.
I don't know what those hand signals mean. Can you enlighten me?
Hi Martha!
Here’s an explanation of that hand sign.
