The Lettermate

The Lettermate is the perfect tool for those who have difficulty addressing an envelope in straight lines. Yes, you could just put a piece of lined paper in the envelope to use as a guide, but why would you, when you can use a nifty tool instead?

My daughter Rachel gave me the Original Lettermate several years ago. I now have the 2nd Edition Lettermate as well. Highly recommended accessories for analog communication.

There's so much need for such a thing that there's even a competitor product on Amazon. They have a package of 3 and a package of 4 different templates. Who knew . . .

Not me. I wonder who had the idea first.

This looks like a crafts company. https://smile.amazon.com/OPount-Envelope-Addressing-Templates-Envelopes/dp/B06WRWMSKT

Yep. I think this kind of tool is where “supplies” begins to cross over into scrapbooking. :)

I was going to buy another Lettermate and found out The Lettermate is no more. And there was something about the Paper Source buying a lot of inventory from small businesses and independent vendors, then declaring bankruptcy. Not clear if that's why Lettermate is no more.

Their Etsy page — https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheLettermate has them taking time off in late 2022 in advance of a baby. I saw the Instagram post about Paper Source (scoundrels!).

If you search for lettermate in Amazon, you can find products that are at least similar.

How quickly great products appear and disappear. : (
