Fresca made a suggestion in a comment: write a sentence using Merriam-Webster’s nine runners-up for Word of the Year. The runners-up: complicit, recuse, empathy, dotard, syzygy, gyro, federalism, hurricane, and gaffe.
Mine:

Okay, this is really bad.
Only a dotard would deny federalism is complicit in the lack of empathy felt for those who recuse themselves, aligned as they are, almost in syzygy, creating a perfect hurricane that's more gaffe than gyro meat.
OOOh... you two are really, really good!

The modern dancer spun in syzygy with a gyro on a spit, presenting without a gaffe a hurricane of moves meant to represent an empathetic federalism, while the judge was recused as a dotard, complicit in seeking to block the inclusion of "foreign" meats in dance.

P.S. Of course I have to admit I made it easier on myself than you two did, by adding other substantive words...
I hope someone at Merriam-Webster is taking notice. Put down that gyro, lexicographer, and show some empathy!
