The Hallmark Zone. Troubled by the state of the world, a gentle scholar travels to a quaint town to watch the making of a holiday movie. Then we hear the ominous sound of the twilight zone music as the scholar realizes all present are trapped on an island in a giant sea of fondant.
P.S. Oh, wait, you said he doesn't want to escape anyway, so lose the spooky music in my scene.

There should be scary music as he realizes that he can’t leave. But then he comes around. More cocoa!
