Well, Michael, this could be the perfect retirement hobby for you.
I can see it now: a video of you, in white buckskin shirt and trou, wearing a black diamond mask, seen correcting urban graffiti in the darkest hours of night, goes viral - exponentially! - in less than a day. Emboldened by the fame of your exploits, and realizing the educational effect your corrections have on students across the nation, you and your faithful videographer begin producing grammatical vid tutorials which revolutionize teaching, taking the classroom to the students via social media platforms as yet unimagined.

I think they regulate the sale of spray paint here. And I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen graffiti like the stuff in the artlcle. But I could brush up on my Spanish and move to Quito.
I just remembered the guys who were arrested in a national park altering signage.
Perhaps the NPS is concerned that if they do not punish the Typo Bandits, others will follow suit and the entire park system would be altered.
So many errors, so little time.
On the up-side, good(?) to know there is such a typo-eradication movement closer to home than Quito. :)
