Sad picture of a child-parent relationship: so often I'm walking, seeing parent and child, or a parent with a child in a stroller, and the parentis on the phone.
ReplyDeleteYes, everywhere.
ReplyDeleteWas "parentis" a slip for "parentis absentis"?
ReplyDeletePossibly the “drive to school” is in a self-driven car?
ReplyDeleteNo parents needed!

ReplyDeleteYes, why drive when you could be doing something else? And you could probably rig up something to wish the kids a good day at school when the car stops.
ReplyDeleteAs you probably remember, Sam Altman is the fellow who recently talked about the cost of “training" a human vs. the cost of training AI. He and his husband are raising an infant. Good luck, kid.
