Today at the thrift store, the cashier played Beach Boys albums all day in tribute to Brian Wilson.
Such good music! I was singing and dancing in the aisles as I shelved donations.
I wouldn’t have been able to get a thing done.
I’m not sure what albums you might have had, but SMiLE will blow your mind. Then again, almost anything he created will blow one or more fuses.
She was playing them on Spotify. I will look up SMiLE.
PS. I miss actual albums.
I have to have the thing itself — LP or CD. The music I have as files only partly exists for me.
Make sure to look for SMiLE. Smiley Smile has its own charms, but it’s not SMiLE. (It’s a long story.)
