I don't think that's a good comparison, Michael; situations are not the same.
I see it as a way of highlighting the difference between what’s considered unacceptable and what’s considered acceptable. I don’t have the knowledge to make a judgment about whether the vaccine should be paused. But it’s amazing that people die again and again by gun and politicians (some) do nothing but offer “thoughts and prayers.”
