Researchers say that the unique, complex, spatial and tactile information associated with writing by hand on physical paper is likely what leads to improved memory.

Writing something 100 times on the chalk board cements it. Experience.

I love to write by hand. The feel of the writing instrument* on the paper and how well it works or doesn't work.

If you write checks to mail - are you more aware of what things are costing?

*Writing instrument because sometimes it's a Pentel pencil, a #2 pencil, or a Pilot G-2. All write differently and feel different.
