Title case

In the library:

“There’s an interlibrary loan book for me, I Went Down to St. James Infirmary .”

And the librarian (whom I know) was baffled. She thought I was reporting that I had gone down to St. James Infirmary. She didn’t know the song title and thought that I was making, in a weird way, conversation.

The book, by Robert W. Harwood, investigates the origins and subsequent history of the song. The book is now in a fourth edition. I have the third (2022).
