i'm in jeff's camp!! although i do have a few clicky pencils. and then you have to have the right eraser: pink pearls or the pentel hi-polymer eraser or the gum ones we used in graphic design class. and none of those you can add to a pencil when the eraser is gone as they just become hard plastic as some point.

ps i think jeff goldblum would be my most favorite dinner guest. he really seems to be like his character that he played in the big chill.

That is fun, and I can relate, though I've never stolen any. I could talk your ear off about pencils.

I have talked at least few ears off in posts here, so I’ll just say that you are my kind of people.

I wonder if Jeff knows about the eraser museum in Ohio. Slywy has visited, but I don’t think she’s written up her visit.

Sharpener Museum! Thousands of sharpeners. In a tiny building.

Yes, sharpeners. Slywy wrote about the museum here, with many photographs:

Get Jeff Goldblum on the phone!

An eraser museum might be equally cool . . . I have some from JetPens that when used up are supposed to have a toy inside, e.g., a rabbit, Mt. Fuji, etc. Problem is I never use them up . . .

I once had a student who had one of the pen-like erasers (like a long tube). She’d been using it since high school and still hadn’t worn it out.
