i think i, too, am one of those who is a follower of otroversion. give me small groups anytime especially people i know well. and how i cringe when we have to do the group thing. and the minute i see ravings about super-popular things i immediately resist. still haven't seen titanic (absolutely no interest in it) along with books that others rave about.

I've actually seen Titanic. You're not missing anything; it's strictly for laughs. I wouldn't be able to identify The Pitt or anything else mentioned in that article. Nor could I hum a single Taylor Swift song. I'm still catching up to the cultural trends of 1968.
I like “Shake It Off,” but that’s all I got. The Pitt? As old blues musicians used to say about musicians they’d never met, “I know of it.”
