You'll have to explain to me why normally intelligent, rational human beings enjoy such an absurd, nonsensical comic strip. (My college dorm mate introduced me to Zippy in 1983, so I know Pinheads have been around for a long time.) And yes, that is being judgmental -- but we all judge.
Are we not having fun yet? :) I think you've answered your own question: some people like absurdity and non sequiturs. To each their own!
