I remember folks in the White House for the first term warning us that they had to be the guard rails for preventing the incumbent's idiocy. Perhaps folks have forgotten. Now maybe, for second term, human guard rails will finally appear. Or not.
Michael, with your crosswords and your photographs, you remind me of Heather's Youtube clips where she warns us, in effect, that we can't get too exhausted over politics, but to have to have nice things in life too.
Meanwhile, with your various links for us, you act out that "a good citizen is informed."
So yes, I get a kick out of your web site.
Yeah, we have to have nice things. Books, music, pens snd pencils, all the stuff that makes life better.
Also — thanks, Sean!
