Last night Elaine and I watched the full 60 Minutes interview with the current occupant. You can find it at YouTube, with minimal commercial interruptions.
Norah O’Donnell left so many matters unaddressed. I assume that they were declared off-limits when the interview was set up: the Epstein files, the occupant’s cognitive and physical health (whydja get an MRI, sir?), health care (remember “concepts of a plan”?), SNAP, and on, and on. And O’Donnell offered no follow-up to the occupant’s incredible claim about pardoning Changpeng Zhao: “I don’t know who he is.” See also this extended denial. So you may not use an autopen, but you may pardon people without knowing who they are. Here’s an extended list of lies that O’Donnell left unaddressed.
Also unaddressed: the Halloween party held Friday night at Mar-a-Lago. (The interview was taped on Friday). The Bluesky account PatriotTakes has photographs and video from the event, held, of course, as SNAP benefits were about to expire. And held as a wildly scatological episode of South Park aired on Comedy Central.
