I just told Elaine about a Bluesky post by Ron Filipkowski, commenting on a screenshot of Jake Tapper and his co-author hawking their book:

I forget which movie, but I haven't forgotten sharing in the laughter. After a movie, somebody laughed to see a book "on stage" for a scene and then checked the name of the set director: yup, same name as the author.
ReplyDeleteA nice touch! I just learned that the Chaffee Building in The Naked City was named to honor the script supervisor Mary Chaffey. The building, in reality the Squibb Building, was given a new sign for filming.
