The craziness going on around us in the first two months of the second Trump administration makes a lot more sense if you remember that the goal of those currently in power was never simply to change the policies or the personnel of the U.S. government. Their goal is to dismantle the central pillars of the United States of America — government, law, business, education, culture, and so on — because they believe the very shape of those institutions serves what they call “the Left.”If I had to choose one source daily from which to gain a better understanding of current events, it would be Letters from an American.

Too bad no democrat is going to say about the Trump administration's project 2025 what Lincoln said about those extending slavery, something like, "When I see a pile of logs with the ends notched and labeled, I knew that they are to be erected according to a plan, just as there is a plan to extend slavery." And then he proceeded to name the labels and steps already taken.
...Say, today someone was surprised when I said that when I was a boy the textbook company had two editions, depending on whether the texts were for schools in the North or the South. I have no idea whether that still happens.
