Jay North with a dye job?
Good catch. It’s Jay North minus dye job (his hair was dyed for Dennis the Menace). Here he shares the screen with Steve Cochran in The Big Operator (dir. Charles F. Haas, 1959), part of a cast that included Charles Chaplin Jr., Jackie Coogan, Mickey Rooney, Mel Tormé, and Vampira. Worth seeking out (on YouTube), if only for that cast.
that I would have never gotten as I never liked the tv show "Dennis the menace."

I hated Dennis the Menace. I saw Jay North’s name in the credits, but even then it took me a minute to recognize him with his own hair.
