New York City subway cars will be losing their orange and yellow seats in 2025. Replacing them: blue and yellow seats.

ReplyDeleteI was frightened when I saw your title – – I thought you were going to say you were closing down orange crate art. God for bid!
No way, I was just thinking of Robert Frost (and his line is in my head from the (incredibly awful) book The Outsiders, which I looked up out of curiosity. My guess would be that the new color scheme is likely a coincidence, but really, I have no idea. I think it looks Ikea-like.
