Oh, I didn't know that term--thanks.
ReplyDeleteAccording to a quote in the Guardian, “Goblin mode is kind of the opposite of trying to better yourself”.
I sense it happening--it fits the times, in many ways.

I think it’s an example of a dictionary stunting to stir up interest. Me, I’d never heard of goblin mode before this poll. But at least it beat out metaverse.
