Separated at birth

[Marcel Herrand as Pierre-Françoise Lacenaire, in Children of Paradise (1945). Pat Harrington Jr. as Dwayne Schneider, in One Day at a Time (c. 1975–1984).]

LOL
From Children of Paradise to One Day at a Time---that's some interfilmic stretch--love to ponder what the six degrees of separation are... :)

If there is a path, my guess is that it might begin with Jacques Prévert. Pat Harrington Jr. must have known someone who recorded “Autumn Leaves” who knew someone who knew someone who ... Prévert.

Shoot. Pat Harrington Jr. died in 2016--I was going to suggest you write to him and ask... I guess we'll never know.

I guess it has to remain a mystery of television.
