I followed the link to A resignation. It gets to be quite an impressive list of resignations. And still, at the bottom of the list, in brackets: "Elon Musk resigned from this council in June."
Elon Musk beat the rush. Plus SpaceX. Plus Tesla. Plus populating Mars. Plus who knows what else. Elon Musk is special, without a doubt. Maybe he's the kind of man we need for a leader.
And then I came back to the current post and moved on to the next one, where I read: "Time and time and time again, the people discover that they have merely betrayed themselves into the hands of yet another Pharaoh, who, since he was necessary to put the broken country together, will not let them go."
That woke me up.
“Will not let them go”: takes on new meaning when you see Musk’s nonplussed reaction to Werner Herzog’s offer to go to Mars.
