A librarian’s Mongol

[It’s Your Library (Teaching Films, Inc., 1947.]

Elaine was first to call it. It’s a Mongol, a WWII-era Mongol, with a plastic ferrule. Example here.

It’s Your Library is a short educational film. Not exceptionally great (i.e., weird), but still fun.

The book titles on the shelf are fascinating. Being interested in airships, Historic Airships by Holland caught my eye. I had never heard of this book until now and looked it up on Abe. Published in 1928, 343 pages, b&w and colour illustrations. Sounded great, and the price was good, so I bought it. Thanks for the tip!
