“I sure love garlic”

Me too! Some years ago a friend commented about the ceramic receptacle on my countertop used exclusively to store readily accessible garlic bulbs. I said, "why, don't you have one?"
I have a vivid memory from when my kids were young, probably grade school age. I was cooking, and all that I had on the stove was a skillet with olive oil, garlic, and onions sweating in the pan. My daughters came bounding down the stairs from their bedrooms exclaiming, "something smells good!"
We have two heads right now, in a ceramic replica of the pint boxes that hold blueberries.
Do you know the documentary Garlic Is as Good as Ten Mothers? It's at the Criterion Channel, and there are a few clips at YouTube. Worth seeking out!
I'll look for it. Thanks!
