The older I get the more I find my short-circuiting brain trying to fill in the gaps when reading using fewer letter as cues. For example I might see two words “gef___e f__h” and figure that it must be “gefilte finch”.
I expect one day I’ll swear that I saw a “finch & chimps” van...
