I caught a half-hour of the Lindsey Graham–Jamie Harrison debate tonight on C-SPAN. Harrison is an impressive candidate — a plainspoken truthteller. I can easily imagine him running for president in the not-distant future.

ReplyDeleteIn 2004 I had the same thought about Barack Obama (then running for Senate). Let’s see what happens in November.
ReplyDeleteI have to revise a little: in 2004 I said (as a friend reminded me), that Obama would be president. Harrison might have to wait (as vice president?) through two Harris terms. In 2032 he’ll be fifty-six — as old as Harris will be in a few weeks. Not a bad age at which to run.
