iOS text editors

Brett Terpstra’s iOS text-editor roundup is an exhaustive guide to writing apps for the iPhone and iPad.

One iOS writing app that I especially like is Byword. I wrote most of this morning’s post about fluke life in Byword, on my phone, on a plane this past weekend.

I've been using BBEdit since forever on a Mac, and for the devices I landed on Editorial.

I just added the free version of BBEdit to my Mac to replace the sunsetted (is that a word?) TextWrangler.

The Editorial keyboard looks nice. Maybe someday Apple’s keyboard will have something for positioning the cursor?
