We bought the peeler several years ago in an Asian supermarket. I bought the razor a week or so ago, but I recognized the resemblance only last night.
[People without full beards are sometimes surprised to learn that people with full beards still need to shave. That’s how we keep the beard from overtaking the face and neck.]

ReplyDeleteI married a bearded guy in '79. In '81, after daughter Laura's birth, Don was job-hunting and decided he needed to shave it off. When he walked into the kitchen the next morning, the transformation was a shock. I went and put my bathrobe on over my nightgown.
ReplyDeleteI shaved mine off once, years ago, freaked out my kids, and immediately began growing it back.
