In the movies, that is. I know of two or three:
Barbara Stanwyck as Lee Leander in Remember the Night (dir. Mitchell Leisen, 1940).
Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s (dir. Blake Edwards, 1961).
If we include real-life crime, there’s Doris Payne, the subject of the documentary The Life and Crimes of Doris Payne (dir. Matthew Pond and Kirk Marcolina, 2013).
Who else?

What about an aborted shoplifting attempt? If so, I nominate Jennifer Connelly in “Career Opportunities.” For real life, Farrah Fawcett and Winona Ryder.
Thank you. I remember the Free Winona slogan.
Arthur (Dudley Moore) meets ? (Liza Minneli) in 'Arthur' when he sees her pinching a tie and getting nailed by a store detective.
TCM could make a day’s worth of programming with this. : )
