I think the most epic use of the term nonplussed was when novelist Michael Peterson used it to describe his opinion of his being found guilty of homicide.
ReplyDeleteI saw it on the late, great "City Confidential," and almost spat out my Cheerios at the chutzpah.... Wish I could find a video link.
Was he using it correctly? From the context, I can’t tell.
