Donald with a fishhook

The New York Times has an article with five examples of the present occupant’s Donald-only signature, ranging from 1987 to 2001. The Times’s conclusion is that the Donald-only signature on the Epstein birthday letter (top left) closely matches the other five. The one detail the Times article mentions: “One obvious similarity is that they all include a long tail following the final ‘d’ of his first name. He has not typically included such a tail when signing with both his first and last names.”

I want to point out another obvious and slightly unusual similarity: in each signature, the terminal d is left open, looking more like a fishhook or a capital J.

But it doesn’t take a detective or handwriting analyst to recognize the top-left signature as the work of the present occupant, just like the others.

[The Times has the signatures in their entirety. I’ve cut and pasted just the end bits.]
