Jerry Miller, rejected

[“The Far Side Cast.” The Far Side, 1988.]

From today’s samples of Gary Larson’s The Far Side, now in reruns, five strips a day on weekdays, two a day on weekends. I’d say that each strip’s casting director made the right call.

so happy to see the far side out. i was in dc in 1987 when they had an exhibit of his original drawings for the cartoons. a co-worker and i went to see it. we were both laughing so hard that other people wouldn't come in the room while we were there. i used to collect some of them out of the newspaper and i think he had one of those sheet-a-day calendars which were fun.

I had Lambini & Sons on my office door for years. In the Larson world, they tiled the floor of the Sistine Chapel. (I’m the son of a tile man.)
