Today’s Newsday Saturday Stumper is by Stan Newman, the puzzle’s editor, composing as Lester Ruff. And it is an easier Stumper, though much of it baffled me on first glance. I solved online and am typing on an iPad, so I’m going to limit this post to my favorite, if slightly ridiculous, entry in the puzzle:
61-A, ten letters, “Merchant of Venice conclusion.”
No spoiler; the answer is in the comments.

LOWERCASEE.
The clue is a bit ambiguous I'd say. I could easily conclude that the conclusion of "The Merchant of Venice" is a right square bracket ("]").
Well, while I live I'll fear no other thing
So sore as keeping safe Nerissa's ring.
[Exeunt]
My first thought was SCENE..., but of course there’s no scene seven. I wondered why The is missing from the title, which is in italics in print but not online. But I don’t see how those details point to LOWERCASEE and not something else.
Also, no scene three. :)
