I was on the tube in London some years ago when we all heard an old fashioned telephone ringer bell sounded. Everyone in the car turned to look and a young man answered his cell phone. He had obviously downloaded this old fashioned ring tone and it was clear that everyone on the car enjoyed hearing a cell phone ring for once.
ReplyDeleteI may have to follow suit. We have a new phone with not one sound approaching a genuine ring. (E flat and G, as I found when I took apart an old phone.)
