A pocket notebook sighting

In the British series Professor T , Detective Sergeant Dan Winters (Barney White) carries a Moleskine Reporter notebook. It’s seen in several episodes, but here’s the glimpse that allows a positive identification.

Note the elastic band, and click for a larger view to see very slight bulge at the back of the notebook where the pocket for papers is attached to the inside cover.

The green-gloved hand belongs to Ingrid Snares (Sarah Woodward), Professor Jasper Tempest’s secretary. Miss Snares ia aligning the pen and notebook as D.S. Winters and D.S. Lisa Donckers (Emma Naomi) talk to Professor T (Ben Miller), a criminologist who’s already assisted the police on a case. “Thank you, Miss Snares,” he says. “I’m sure the feng shui is fully restored by now.” Yes, he lives with OCD. And he’s on the autism spectrum.

Years ago, Ricky Gervais turned up with a Moleskine Reporter in an episode of Extras .
