Here’s the clothing store that went with the Ebbets Field “Hit Sign Win Suit” sign. Here’s some history. Here’s a good look at the sign. And here’s Abe Stark (1894–1972), tailor, clothing-store owner, philanthropist, and politician.
I’m not happy that this WPA tax photograph is listing badly. So I called Abe Stark (in my imagination) and a tailor made some expert alterations.

Today no. 1514 has been subsumed by 5 or Less, a bargain store.
