The only actor I can remember dropping in on a child's birthday party is George Reeves as Superman, dropping in on little Ricky's party. Hilarious: Lucy, thinking that Reeves wouldn't show, dressed up as Superman.
And now that I look closer, I can see the makeup-less George Reeves.
Yes, that’s George Reeves as Bob, former football hero, in Lydia (dir. Julien Duvivier, 1941), now streaming at the Criterion Channel. Good eyes!
