Operation Epic Fail

One way to know that they all know that the current occupant’s address to the nation last night was a flop is to check the occupant’s social media.

6:35 a.m.: A link to a story about Victor Davis Hanson not being fooled by a Chinese spy. (The unstated context: the occupant‘s suspicion that Pam Bondi tipped off Eric Swalwell about the impending release of documents from an investigation of Swalwell‘s alleged relationship with that spy.)

6:58 a.m.: A rant about Bruce Springsteen.

9:33 a.m.: Praise for Mike Johnson and John Thune, mockery of Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer, and a promise to pay all DHS employees.

11:15 a.m.: Video of a Fox News commentary on birthright citizenship that preceded yesterday’s Supreme Court hearing. Chyron: “Wednesday: Supreme Court Hears Birthright Case.”

11:37 a.m.: Video of an Iranian bridge being destroyed.

12:17 p.m.: Praise for the fired Pam Bondi, who will be “transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector.”

12:43 p.m.: A video of the song “The Ballad of Davy Crockett,” sung by Fess Parker, with commentary that identifies Jasmine Crockett as a distant relative of Crockett, “a very High IQ Frontiersman.” Get it? “A very High IQ” white man and a distant relative. Just one more instance of our racist president correlating color and IQ.

So: lots of grievance, lots of hatred, and a bridge being destroyed. But no greatest hits from last night’s address, and no praise of it either, not one bit.

And now later in the day, three posts about his ballroom.

And to end the day, mockery of Bruce Springsteen’s alleged plastic surgeon, and the promise of war crimes: “Bridges next, then Electric Power Plants!”
