From The New York Times (gift link):
Former President Donald J. Trump is ineligible to hold office again, the Colorado Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday, accepting the argument that the 14th Amendment disqualifies him in an explosive decision that could upend the 2024 election.Far from final, but still welcome, news.

Thank you for your gift link. That was an interesting read.
I liked how near the end some one said the law was about oath breakers, and the president also takes an oath.
incidentally, I once read the back of a veteran's T-shirt at a country music festival where it was written that he still felt bound by his oath to defend the contstitution I could sense his resolve.
It’ll be interesting to see what some members of the Supreme Court make of it.
The words that most struck me in that article, from the ruling: “without fear or favor.”
