My wife and I were just discussing how quaint the idea of stamp-collecting has apparently become, though I'm sure there are still hard-core collectors (and dealers) as they are for virtually anything these days. I still have my childhood stamp albums and my wife has her grandmother's.
Yep, a dowdy-world hobby. I remember when department stores had Stamp and Coin departments — I think my stamp album came from Macy’s.
