It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a sandwich cut on the diagonal is infinitely better (thanks, Jane!). I also like the mustard on the meat side and the mayonaise on the lettuce side.

ReplyDeletePretty food tastes better; diagonals are more visually interesting.
ReplyDeleteAnd for those of us with an overbite, diagonal cuts allow for smaller nips.
