Winsome and whimsical?

On the PBS NewsHour this evening, a conservative commentator named Michael Knowles explained the FFCKUS’s recent penchant for speaking of himself as a king or emperor thusly: “He uses winsome and whimsical language.” Knowles told Amna Nawaz that such language didn’t worry him at all.

Yep, nothing to worry about.

You can watch the interview online if you must.

[FFCKUS: First Felon and Crazy King of the United States. Acronym of initialism, your choice. I won’t type his name anymore.]

I remember when Bill Maher would say, "Hate Trump, but don't hate his followers, for that's half the country." All right, more than half on voting day.

But now I find a Youtube clip on MSNBC showing various polls claiming, to my surprise, that less than half the country approves of the guy. I will be glad when the mid-terms come. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2CUFX9kUkM

I hope that buyer’s remorse grows and grows and that there are then opportunities to make wiser choices and begin to undo at least some of the damage.
