That voice of reason, of rationality, of compassion and of wise leadership...oh, how I needed that.
I was wondering today why former presidents hadn't spoken out publicly, and to Trump, about how his asinine behavior is contributing to--nay, instigating!--this horror that's dragging our nation down.
Then, thank goodness, you posted this wonderful reminder of what a good man, a true leader, sounds and acts like. I hope the remaining former Presidents and other elder statesmen will join him. Thanks, Michael.
I checked Twitter several times to see if Obama had made a statement, and finally saw that he had. Both Carter and Bush have publicly criticized Trump before — I hope they speak up now.
